Was happy to do it. The Quarrymen recording is, I think, interesting in that Baby Let's Play House went on to form the basis of Run for Your Life. The Braun-Kirchherr tapes are just a fascinating insight of them before Hamburg, and probably within days of Stu buying his bass. In fact, it seems that as much they'd decided to record themselves on a borrowed reel-to-reel, the main purpose of the rehearsals was to try and bring Stu up to speed on his newly acquired bass - which would explain all the long, pretty formless, instrumental jams.
