It's annoying if he keeps gets things like that wrong, I guess. In his (slight) defence though, I have seen it mis-quoted like that several times.
Oh, I see it misquoted like that all the time. I expect a professor dedicating an entire course to the Beatles to have that detail right, though, especially as the difference in meaning between the two is significant (one sounds like a boast, the other more like an observation). It makes me wonder how much he gets wrong that I'm not catching.
