In 1984, the American alt-rock band "The Replacements" released an album called "Let It Be." It didn't sell very well, but many rock critics consider the album a classic, and include it on their list of top all-time rock records. I heard it once, and it didn't do anything for me. Naming their album "Let it Be," especially when there isn't a corresponding song of that title, strikes me a snarky ploy to get attention. I'm not a fan of snarky ploys.
Great album! And a great band too. The Replacements were irreverent, and calling an album "Let ...
