"Band on the Run" is totally about the Beatles. Paul's said the line "if we ever get out of here" was taken from something George said in one of their interminable breakup meetings. John is Sailor Sam (and probably "the first one"), Paul is the Jailer Man (and probably "the second one there"), Ringo is the Undertaker, and George is the County Judge.
