You can't find an English version of Mother 1 without an emulator, though - same with Mother 3. The translation of the first was never properly released, but it's been uploaded to the internet and you might be able to find it somewhere if you have can find a NES emulator. Mother 3 also needs to be emulated, along with the unofficial (but amazing) translation patch. Mother 3 is probably my favourite ...
