I had looked around awhile and found nothing - but they are indeed using a fish-eye lens and taken in 1966. I think I spoke too soon when I said they were from Rishikesh. At least one has the Taj Mahal (or a hotel by the same name...I don't notice a gold roof 
in the background and the trip, during which George received sitar lessons from Ravi, was ...
