I was thinking about a more recent impact the Beatles have had in my life.  In November 2012, both my older sister and I wanted to get tickets to see Paul McCartney here in Edmonton.  Unfortunately, she was scheduled for knee surgery on November 9th and would not be able to walk the steps at Rexall Place where he would be performing...so, she couldn't attend.  ...
