Paul did look like a boy wearing a fake moustache, but George looked pretty beautiful until he started middle parting his hair, and John looked pretty sickly when he had it, and I think I like it most on Ringo. They could all pull it off, though, really.
Even though it's not my thing, Sgt. Pepper probably was collectively their best look for facial hair.
Meanwhile, dreaming up the misadventures of the world's surliest non-tenured scholar, Professor Bullocks, is proving to be a very effective way to while away the time at work. ;->

The Fermanagh Choral Society will be performing Ecce Cor Meum, the fourth classical album by Paul McCartney, on Sunday March 24, Palm Sunday, starting at 7.30 pm, in St. Macartin's Cathedral, Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. The radio station I listen to in the morning had a contest for tickets to an annual April Fool's comedy benefit concert, and each caller had to guess the answer to a clue involving the word "fool." One of answers was "The Fool on the Hill." The guy who came up with the questions is a huge Beatles fan and often includes bits on Paul in his hourly showbiz news break.

Funny you should mention penguins - I just half an hour ago finished watched the cursed Pittsburgh Penguins beat my beloved Toronto Maple Leafs for the SECOND consecutive time on Toronto ice...and it's the SECOND consecutive game that I heard no Beatles music being played in the arena! Previous few games, I heard a Beatles tune or two (and posted about it earlier in this very thread) and my team won! THIS CANNOT CONTINUE!! 
I DEMAND to hear Beatles songs played in that arena! And not just for the obvious reason.

Here in the UK, we have two main in-depth news programmes, BBC2's Newsnight and Channel Four News. I was watching Channel Four News earlier this evening. For some reason, this serious news programme ended with the Russian Grannies from last year's Eurovision Song Contest, on the London Eye, singing Imagine in Russian, accompanied by today's lead presenter, Krisnan Guru-Murthy, on guitar. WTF!
