I've seen a few over here in the States before this one was put in. They're not real popular, but I guess they're becoming more common. Before it was finished and before I actually drove around it, I thought the same thing about adaptability. Its actually pretty easy once you get use to it.

 

You know you're a hardcore Beatles fan when you probably have a book (not actually an book) of Beatley moments that have happened to you.

In my diary where I write my coursework down, often there's not enough room because the page is full of lyrics and things like ''Please Please Me released 50 years ago today!'' (I'm surprised that no one has metioned that it was the anniversary yesterday, or at least I don't think they have).

In my diary where I write my coursework down, often there's not enough room because the page is full of lyrics and things like ''Please Please Me released 50 years ago today!'' (I'm surprised that no one has metioned that it was the anniversary yesterday, or at least I don't think they have).

Holy sh*t! 150.000?! Wow...Imagine having it though. That's what I call a serious collector's item!

And that mini documentary was nice. Nothing new obviously. I wonder if they'll do that for all albums. I hope so.

This was funny.

I was in a drugstore with my mom, and there is this corner with home decoration stuff and there was a square wooden plate with ''All you need is love'' in white letters on it. I didn't even have to say anything, my mom just sighed and said ''Don't say anything. I'll buy it for you''

Then, like an hour later, we went to visit my grandma who has pneumonia and just as we walked in, guess which song her radio started playingahdn_paul_01 I thought it was a funny coincidence, and even more so because ...

Two photo pieces that appeared yesterday to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Please Please Me.

The first is from TIME Entertainment and includes 10 photos taken by Philip Jones Griffiths in 1963/64 (they claim all are 1963 but place one in Paris, which must be 1964 if it is Paris). Some very nice shots of the group.

The second is from Slate and includes 14 photos, again 1963/64. Taken from the files of AP, there are many familiar images, but also some lesser known shots.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8Suprised those two girls managed to get Ringo's pick in one of those photos considering he wasnt wearing any trousers - would have thought they would fainted, or fake fainted, to try and get a glimpse of what was underneath.

Haha, I do that as well! My birthday is in the same week as George's, and that week my friends were confused as to why I had written his birthday in my planner when I hadn't written my own.

Rare Shea Stadium '65 pics have sold for £30,000 the bbc reports. The photographer duped his way in with a fake pass, the only other photographer there ran out of film (if you're there to take photos of the beatles you ensure you bring too much film).

At the bottom of the same report the bbc note that

A further collection of 65 unpublished colour slides of The Beatles taken by physicist Dr Robert "Bob" Beck in 1964 sold for £27,140. They had an estimate of £10,000-£15,000.
