Linde on Beatley Moments
Wanted to set my alarm clock for tomorrow, but I have a radio function so I started to pick a channel. I switched the thing on and Ringo's Photograph was on very vague in the distance, which was awesome cause I had never heard any of his solo songs on the radio before. But then it kinda faded away and I tried to get that channel back but I couldn't get it anymore.

This is the longer version I was looking for:
Beatles in the Blood on Who first introduced you to the Beatles?
I discovered them by Big Time Rush, sadly. But then I listened to the real versions of the Beatles songs and I ditched those other suckers.
vonbontee on Who first introduced you to the Beatles?
LOL young people!... I can't really say who "introduced" me to 'em, because I can barely remember a time when I wasn't aware of the Beatles. I definitely knew of an entity called "Beatles" by the age of five (two years after the breakup) but I had no visual reference points. Don't remember anybody specifically telling me about them, or myself asking. I suppose if any individual(s)l managed to make me aware of them, it was either my mother (who is named Judie and was often singing "Hey Jude" as if it were her own ...

No one person introduced me; I stumbled on them via the cartoon reruns when I was about 8, and then I asked either my mom or dad who they were.

My dad, he put the ''1'' album on a very long car trip and told me that I was listening to one of the greatest bands ever (along with The Who and The Jam, according to him). For once in his life, he was right.

My mom went to see a choir because my grandma really wanted to see it. The members were al 65+ by the way. They happened to do a Beatles medley too! (Yesterday, Ticket to ride and I forgot the third song)My mom showed me the flyer and it was such a fail. It said ''Paul Mac Cartney'' and it said he did the music and John did the lyrics and then she told me the presenter literally called them the Beat-les. Truly unforgivable *sighs*
You think someone would have corrected it
If I had ...

Oops, don't know why I thought it was off a French programme. Sorry.
When you think about it, it doesn't make sense logically. Why would they be holding posters with English on them if they were in France...? I feel a bit stupid now....

Q: "How do the other guys feel about Ringo being nominated for President?"
JOHN: "We think he should win, you know."
PAUL: "Yes, we think he should."
GEORGE: "Definitely in favor."
Q: "Ringo, would you nominate the others as part of your cabinet?"
RINGO: "Well, I'd have to... wouldn't I?"
GEORGE: "I could be the door."
Haha, love that.
I love this one from Dallas:
Q: (to John) "What kind of girls do you prefer?"
JOHN: "My wife."
Q: "Your wife? What kind of girl is she?"
JOHN: "She's a NICE girl."
Q: "Ringo, when you marry, what kind of girl are you gonna..."
RINGO: "Oh I dunno. I haven't sorted one ...

I was just doing stuff on the internet and then I decided to check my phone and saw I had a missed call and some texts and whatsapp messages from my mom who told me to come to the livingroom NOW. So I got all worried and I ran downstairs, but she just did that because there was a documentary about the Beatles on tv, which was a nice surprise. I hadn't seen it before, but it discussed them all 4 seperately, instead of telling us the story about the band itself. I missed half of it but hey.

I can't remember which interview but I recall John saying that if Paul, George and Ringo were up for it he would have done it. I would've loved to see what they did.
Funny Paper on Who's the best looking Beatle?
That's the one! Thanks LHL! I fear it would have taken me hours to try to track that down. (I sure was wildly off on the decade -- that whole Wings era was kind of a blur for me).

I've tried doing that with smoke and I still can't figure out how the hell he does it... Oh right, he's Paul McCartney.
