I've enjoyed exploring this thread -- it's been very interesting. Everfine mentioned Rick Nelson's "Garden Party" with the line, "Yoko brought her walrus, there was magic in the air." I've learned that the next line is a Beatle reference too: "Over in the corner, much to my surprise, Mr. Hughes hid in Dylan's shoes, wearing his disguise." Mr. Hughes refers to George. That was the name George often used when he traveled. George and Rick were friends as Rick lived next door to George's California house.
